Circles Make the World Go Round

George and I have been playing with circles this week. I'm really just showing George what they look like. He has started tracing the wheels on his trucks and he is saying  the "cir" part of the word. I have worked with many of the elementary grades. George is the youngest child I have ever watched learn. It is truly amazing to see their little brains work. I've been blessed to experience his first smile, first words, and to see him go from sitting to crawling to walking and now running! What a rewarding time it is for me. He is now counting to ten pretty recognizably and just this week began spontaneously humming and singing "Jesus Loves Me." He LOVES to laugh, play, be praised, and learn something new! I look forward to what tomorrow will hold while I try to soak in the joys of today.

Below are a few pictures of George and his circle-fun from this week.

  1. I'm so glad I caught this. Made me smile. He's a little cutie. My boys are older now, 12 and 16. I miss them being this little. I had such fun teaching them stuff like that. Sounds like you guys had a fun week!

  2. Awww, thanks Joanne. I'll pass the compliment along to George :) Wow, I can't imagine George at 12 or 16, but from what I've heard, it will happen fast! Yes, we did have a FUN week! Thanks for stopping by!
