Review of "Then Sings My Soul Book 3" by Robert J. Morgan

In this book, Robert J. Morgan provides the reader with the history of hymns. He does this by categorizing the hymns into groups such as Biblical and Ancient. Morgan then shares the sheet music, composers, and stories that influenced the music.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different composers, hymns, and time periods. I grew up listening and singing hymns. I found many of these same hymns in this book, and I was thrilled to learn about the people behind them and their experiences that helped shape their lyrics and music.

I plan to keep this book as a resource to someday help me teach my son about hymns. I want him to be familiar with the amazing lyrics and stories that inspired them.

Morgan is a great storyteller and my heart was truly touched many times throughout this book. I recommend Then Sings My Soul Book 3 to anyone who wants to learn the story behind the hymn.
